As she prepares to bring her long-awaited Las Vegas shows to life in November, Adele has wowed fans with a glamorous new photoshoot for the cover of Elle magazine.

Ahead of the much-anticipated shows later this year, the 34-year-old songstress has bared her soul on the pages of the publication - opening up about her relationship with Rich Paul and her "embarrassment" at cancelling the residency dates at the last minute in January.

In the first cover photo, the 'Hello' hitmaker can be seen posing in a luxurious white coat.

Complete with her trademark smokey cat-eye liner, Adele gazes seductively at the camera.

A second cover shows the star sitting on a couch, looking chic in an oversized statement fur coat.

While other pictures from the high-end magazine see Adele look trimmer than ever as she wows in an aquamarine ribbed-knit turtle neck tucked into blue jeans.

Speaking in the interview, the 'Easy On Me' hitmaker revealed her dream is to be a "homemaker," as she plans to marry and have children with Paul.

In a rare public display of affection, she said she's as "happy as I'll ever be."

Adding: "I've never been in love like this. I'm obsessed with him."

While Adele and Paul are not engaged yet, the Grammy winner - who was previously married to Simon Konecki, with whom she shares nine-year-old son Angelo Adkins - told Elle she is also looking to expand her family.

"I definitely want more kids," she said. "I'm a homemaker and I'm a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music."

However, before she and Paul - who has three children of his own - focus on family, Adele is putting her energy into her Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

"All I got in my brain is Vegas," she admitted. "I wanna f****** nail it."

Opening up about her "devastating" decision to cancel the residency at the last minute, Adele called it "the worst moment in my career by far."

She explained with just hours to go before her debut date, that she just wasn't satisfied with the show.

"There was just no soul in it. The stage setup wasn't right. It was very disconnected from me and my band, and it lacked intimacy. And maybe I tried too hard to give it those things in such a controlled environment."

Of the backlash she faced from fans, many of whom had splurged thousands on flights and accommodation to see the star, Adele admitted "the first couple of months were really, really hard. I was embarrassed."

"But it actually made my self-confidence in myself grow, because it was a very brave thing to do. And I don't think many people would have done what I did. I'm very proud of myself for standing by my artistic needs."

Looking as beautiful as always Adele!
