A second trailer for the highly-anticipated film is here and it's giving audiences a closer look at Austin Butler's impressive transformation into the legendary Elvis Presley.

The three-minute-long trailer opens with a voiceover stating: "Our country itself is sick, and it’s lost its sense of direction – even its common decency," about the reaction to Presley and his dance moves.

The trailer then laces clips of Presley performing from his early days to his 1972 Madison Square Garden performances in his iconic white eyelet jumpsuit and cape.

The Warner Bros. film will explore Presley's life at three different stages of his career.

The first, his discovery; the second, his 1968 comeback special; and finally, a recreation of backstage footage from the 1970 documentary Elvis: That’s The Way It Is.

The film - which was filmed in Queensland, Australia - will also document the iconic singer's complicated relationship with his longtime manager, Colonel Tom Parker, who is portrayed by Tom Hanks.

Starring alongside Hanks and Butler will be Australian actress Olivia DeJonge in the role of the late singer’s wife, Priscilla.

ELVIS will open in theatres on June 24.
