Bradley Walsh is one busy man!

Not only does he host the popular game show The Chase and stars alongside his son in Breaking Dad, but Walsh also plays Graham O'Brien on the BBC's Doctor Who.

However, after two years on the show, the 59-year-old has decided to leave his role in the hit BBC series.

According to The Mirror, Bradley has already filmed the annual Christmas special and his exit will feature in the episode along with co-star Tosin Cole, who plays his onscreen step-grandson.

A show source said: "Two years is a long time in the world of Doctor Who. Yaz will be back but Christmas will be the last outing for Ryan and Graham."

While their exit plot remains a mystery, the Doctor's companions rarely have happy endings.

His decision won't come as a shock to fans though, as Bradley has previously admitted that he was finding the filming schedule gruelling ahead of the latest series.

"We have great fun doing it. But you must sleep and look after yourself because if you don't, you will come unstuck.

"This is 10 months of ramming speed. That's what it is. I'm in my 60th year. It's tough. It's hard. It's relentless. It really is. This ain't an easy gig."

The BBC has declined to comment on Bradley Walsh's exit.
