Coronation Street confirms shocking double-departure ahead of Christmas

Coronation Street fans will be forced to say goodbye to not just one, but two stars of the show next week.

Producers of the show have revealed that both Fiz Brown (Jennie McAlpine) and Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) will be departing whether field citing different reasons for each.

Jennie McAlpine is going on maternity leave while Isabella is leaving the show altogether.

News of the two stars leaving comes just a few days after reports first emerged of another teen pregnancy plot that is going to happen.

Tracey and Steve Barlow's 14-year-old daughter Amy will announce the news of her pregnancy.

Reports say that she first agrees to terminate the pregnancy early, but then changes her mind and decides to keep the baby.

While ITV hasn't confirmed the pregnancy yet, Amy has become a very prominent character over the past few months and it makes a lot of sense.
