Demi Lovato wows with spectacular Elton John medley at iHeartRadio Awards

Over the weekend, Sir Elton John was honoured by some of the biggest names in music today.

Taking to the stage at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Demi Lovato, H.E.R. and Brandi Carlile paid tribute to the 73-year-old singer with a spectacular music medley as he was awarded the iHeartRadio icon award.

Wearing a sparkly suit and shades, H.E.R. kicked off the performance with her rendition of 'Benny and the Jets,' before Brandi took over with her interpretation of 'Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me.'

Lovato closed the medley with 'I'm Still Standing,' rocking a sequinned suit and shades similar to those popularised by the 'Tiny Dancer' singer.

John is only the second person to receive the icon award after Bon Jovi did three years ago.

Such a well deserved honour!
