Elton John's releases previously unheard intimate piano demo of 'Tiny Dancer'

It's one of the most iconic songs in soft rock history, but prepare to hear Elton John's 'Tiny Dancer' like you've never heard it before ...

Much to the delight of fans, the Rocket Man has released a previously unheard version of his classic track - and it is six minutes of pure raw talent.

The "Piano Demo" was the result of recording sessions at Dick James Studio in central London in the Spring of 1971.

It's an especially intimate version of the song, with the legendary singer-songwriter alone at the piano "as a guide for the band to follow."

The track will feature on John's 50th-anniversary reissue of Madman Across the Water.
