In a move Fleetwood Mac fans probably never saw coming, Mick Fleetwood has been revealed as the new face of pop star Harry Styles' beauty brand, Pleasing.

Taking to social media overnight, the legendary drummer shared a series of images from his kaleidoscopic photoshoot for the former One Direction singer unisex brand.

In the snaps, the 74-year-old musician can be seen in a purple zebra print suit and top hat as he models the brand's colourful new nail polishes as part of its psychedelic-themed collection Shroom Bloom.

The Pleasing photoshoot took place with photographer Anthony Pham at Fleetwood's home in Maui.

Speaking to Vogue magazine, Styles said: "Mick is someone who brings me – and countless others – great joy. I felt there couldn't be a better embodiment of Pleasing, or a person who could so naturally capture the wizardry that we love."

He added: "He's a magical man."

The new nail polish is designed to evoke "the feeling of lying in a park in early spring."

The Shroom Bloom collection is due out on March 15.
