John Legend and Sam Smith sing incredible powerhouse duet of Ben E. King's 'Stand By Me'

Yesterday, some of the biggest names in entertainment came together for the live-streamed charity concert, One World: Together at Home.

For the eight hour concert, John Legend and Sam Smith put their voices together for a beautiful duet of Ben E. King's popular 1961 hit 'Stand By Me.'

Performing while in self-isolation from their respective homes, Legend played the piano as he belted out the lyrics in perfect harmony with Smith.

The special one-time event - which was organised by the Global Citizen movement (which campaigns against poverty worldwide), the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Lady Gaga - aimed to celebrate community health workers and generate funding to eliminate COVID-19.

The concert helped raise $127 million to help fight the pandemic around the globe.
