John Travolta pays sweet tribute to Kelly Preston on what would have been her 58th birthday

John Travolta vowed to always remember his wife Kelly Preston's "love and life" following her tragic death earlier this year.

And he is doing exactly that.

The beloved Grease star took to Instagram yesterday to share a sweet photo in memory of his late wife on what would have been her 58th birthday.

The 66-year-old actor posted a photo of his parents' wedding day alongside a photo of his and Kelly's wedding.

Next to the picture, he wrote: "Happy Birthday hon! I found this photo of my mom and dad's wedding. It was nice to see ours alongside theirs. All my love, John."

Preston passed away in July after privately battling breast cancer for the last two years.

Travolta wrote an emotional post on Instagram July 13, confirming that his wife of 28 years had died.

"It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many."

As well as John, Kelly is survived by her 20-year-old daughter Ella and nine-year-old son Benjamin.

The couple's 16-year-old son Jett tragically died in January 2009 after suffering a seizure.
