A young couple attending the Late Late Show were left in shock on Friday night as Michael Bublé appeared on the Irish chat show - as a member of the audience next to them.

As host Ryan Tubridy opened the show, he introduced David O'Reagan and Ashley Kiely who had got engaged on the programme three years ago.

However, while Tubridy chatted to the happy couple about their love of the Canadian crooner, they were completely unaware that a strange man wearing a PVC jacket, a pair of glasses and a black face mask sitting next to them was none other than the 'Home' hitmaker himself.

Tubridy asked the pair if they had booked a wedding singer yet, to which O'Reagan replied: "Not yet, we're waiting for Michael to come."

"Why don't you ask him ... he's sitting beside you," Tubridy revealed, at which point Bublé jumped up and took off his glasses and the rest of his disguise to reveal himself.
