Nearly 40 years since their last new album ABBA have just released a box set!

ABBA fans get excited ...

Because not only are the Swedish pop supergroup set to make a comeback with two new singles on the way, but they've also just released a box set!

The legendary musicians are celebrating their entire studio discography with an 8LP box set that features each of their ground-breaking records for the first time on coloured vinyl.

With eight studio albums released over eight years - from 1973 and 1981 - the Swedish four-piece dominated the charts, establishing themselves as a truly boundary-pushing force in music.

Included in ABBA: The Studio Albums are:

Ring Ring (1973; red vinyl)
ABBA's debut album, Ring Ring, hit No.2 in the group's homeland and even entered the Top 10 in Australia and Norway. With the title track topping the charts at home, it set the bar high for their global achievements to come.

Waterloo (1974; orange vinyl)
With their breakthrough appearance at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest, ABBA became global stars. 'Waterloo,' the song, topped charts around the world. Its second single, 'Honey, Honey,' remains a true fan favourite. Thanks to Waterloo, the '70s had finally found its era-defining stars.

ABBA (1975; silver vinyl)
The group's self-titled third album raised the stakes with its massive hits ‘SOS’ and ‘Mamma Mia,’ as well as ‘I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do,’ a chart-topper in Australia and New Zealand.

Arrival (1976; white vinyl)
Full of indelible hits, Arrival included the quartet's first US number one with ‘Dancing Queen,’ alongside the further classics ‘Money, Money, Money’ and ‘Knowing Me, Knowing You.’ It topped the charts across Europe, Australasia and far beyond. Not only one of the greatest records of the '70s, but it also remains one of the finest albums of all time.

ABBA – The Album (1977; green vinyl)
Signposting Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' future focus on stage musicals, the album mixed ambitious theatricality with a pop sensibility. Released concurrently with ABBA: The Movie, it included the worldwide hits ‘Take A Chance On Me’ and ‘The Name Of The Game’ as well as the much-loved ‘Thank You For The Music.’

Voulez-Vous (1979; blue vinyl)
ABBA’s final album of the 1970s was the first to be recorded at Polar Studios in Stockholm. With no fewer than five hit singles (‘Chiquitita,’ ‘Does Your Mother Know,’ ‘Angeleyes,’ ‘Voulez-Vous’ and ‘I Have A Dream’), it remains one of the band's most successful albums – and the one that finally saw the group tour the US.

Super Trouper (1980; gold vinyl)
Starting the '80s as they'd ended the '70s, Super Trouper gave ABBA another global number one album and a run of hits, including 'The Winner Takes It All,' that continued their stratospheric success on the singles charts.

The Visitors (1981; yellow vinyl)
ABBA's final album to date, The Visitors was also their seventh consecutive chart-topper. But even as personal turmoil surrounded them, the group was in perfect creative harmony on songs like 'One Of Us' and 'When All Is Said And Done.' The Visitors left fans the world over wishing that their stay had been a little longer.
