After his sudden death in 2009, Michael Jackson's eldest children Prince and Paris haven't shied away from the public spotlight - yet they're very rarely seen together in public together.

So their joint appearance to honour their late father at a celebratory show hosted by MJ The Musical to mark the success of the broadway show brought smiles to everyone involved.

Walking the red carpet at New York's Tavern on The Green, Paris wowed in an intricate floor-length sheer nude lace gown.

While big brother Prince opted for a black blazer and plain black t-shirt, styled with dark blue jeans and black shoes.

The siblings posed for photographers as they embraced affectionately.

MJ the Musical tells the story of the famed American singer, songwriter and dancer, from his early fame to his international career at the top which spanned a total of four decades.

A major success since it hit the stage, the show has received 10 Tony Award nominations this year.

Unlike his older brother and sister, Bigi – who was given the nickname 'Blanket' - did not attend the event.
