Pink pays emotional tribute to her dad Jim Moore after he loses battle with cancer

Pink is mourning the loss of her father Jim Moore, after he passed away on Thursday following a battle with prostate cancer.

The 41-year-old singer took to Instagram the following day to pay tribute to her dad, who was a Vietnam war veteran, before deleting it.

She later re-uploaded the post with two adorable black-and-white throwbacks of herself and her father dancing together with the caption: "Til forever."

The first photo was of herself dancing with her dad as a child, and then again at her 2006 wedding to husband Carey Hart.

Pink also shared another throwback photo of the duo performing 'I Have Seen the Rain' together in New York City in April 2006, captioning the heartfelt snap: "Daddy-Sir."

Jim reportedly wrote the emotional song while he was serving in Vietnam.

The 'What About Us' hitmaker previously kept her fans updated on her father's health status, revealing last July that he had "just finished his second round of chemo for prostate cancer" and was in still good spirits.

Jim is survived by his second wife, Grace Lilleg Moore, his children, Pink and Jason, as well as grandchildren including the star's daughter, Willow, 10, and son, Jameson, four.
