Queen's Brian May performs poignant virtual duet with the late Freddie Mercury during their Rhapsody Tour

For the first time in two years, Queen and Adam Lambert have been taking to the stage once again in the UK with their Rhapsody Tour.

And a very special guest is joining them for the show.

Reuniting virtually with their bandmate the late Freddie Mercury for a duet, Brian May left the crowd with tears in their eyes as he performed an emotional rendition of the band's classic song 'Love Of My Life.'

As the guitar legend played the song, archive footage of Mercury performing the song during the band’s Wembley concert on July 12, 1986, was worked into the show.

At the end of the performance, May can be seen wiping away a tear.

Sharing a video of the touching moment to TikTok, user @impsk77 wrote: "Brian singing 'Love Of My Life' with Freddie and shedding a tear at the end damn near ruined me!"

Mercury died of AIDS-related pneumonia in 1991 at the age of 45. The band has continued touring with Adam Lambert.
