Tupou Neiufi wins New Zealand’s second medal at Tokyo Paralympics

Tupou Neiufi has won New Zealand's second medal of the Tokyo Paralympics after claiming gold in the women's 100m backstroke tonight.

Neiufi finished in a time of 1:16.84, well ahead of second-placed Ukrainian Kateryna Denysenko, who touched in 1:18.31.

Tonight's medal is the first for the young Aucklander, who was told aged two she would not be able to walk again.
