Just one week after winning gold in the Women's Slopestyle, snowboarder Zoi Sadowski-Synnott won New Zealand's second medal of the Beijing Winter Olympics after claiming silver in the Women's Big Air today.

Adding her third medal to her collection, Sadowski-Synnott scored an impressive 177.00.

Austria's Anna Gasser took out gold with 185.50, while Japan's Kokomo Murase won bronze.

The 20-year-old from Wanaka became New Zealand's greatest-ever Winter Olympian at these games.

Sadowski-Synnott won New Zealand's first-ever gold medal at a Winter Olympics after 70 years.

Before she and halfpipe skier Nico Porteous claimed bronzes at the 2018 PyeongChang Games, New Zealand had just one medal at the Winter Games - alpine skier Annelise Coberge's silver in 1992.

Congratulations Zoi!
