Toni Street turns much-loved 'Sound of Music' song into a hilarious parody about Covid-19

For as long as we can remember, music lovers have been singing their way through disastrous times ... and the current coronavirus pandemic is no different.

Social media feeds have been awash with a multitude of coronavirus-themed song parodies communicating the important messages of hygiene whilst also poking fun at social restrictions.

But we think Toni Street may have just made the best parody yet!

There are no bigger fans of The Sound of Music than the Coast team, so you can imagine our excitement when Toni created this COVID-19-themed cover of 'My Favourite Things' with her daughters Mackenzie and Juliette.

Posting the parody to Instagram, the mum-of-three wrote: "Weekends in Lockdown ... Sound of Music styles."

Of course, the hilarious parody has since gone viral, receiving over 39,000 views in less than 12 hours.
