Norwegian trio a-ha topped the charts with Take On Me 31 years ago this week.
It was a pop song with a catchy chorus and singer Morten Harket’s incredible falsetto. But it was the groundbreaking pencil sketch/live-animation video which set this one apart from the others.
It won six MTV Video Music Awards in 1986 – and even today it’s fun to watch.
