“Hogan’s Heroes” is the latest classic TV series seeking the reboot treatment. The co-creatorof the original series, Al Ruddy, is behind the project. If you remember, Hogan's Heroes was about a group of international soldiers in a German prison camp during World War II who secretly sabotage the Nazi war effort. It was made as a spoof of the film, Stalag 17, with all the characters played as stereotyped comic caricatures.

"Hogan's Heroes" ran for 168 episodes from 1965 to 1971 in the US (and for years longer in NZ due to reruns). In this version, it would also be a comedy, set in the present, and would centre on the descendants of the original characters as they team up for a global treasure hunt.
