Five-time Grammy Award winner James Taylor has paid tribute to those working on the frontlines amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, with the help of the top 17 contestants on The Voice.

Taylor, who is known as a 'mega mentor' on the show, sung from his home, with harmonies added from the show's finalists partway through the song.

The Voice has entered into uncharted territory by continuing with show filming amidst lockdown, with all contestants and judges performing from their isolation bubbles.

As each competitor performed, the audience at home enjoyed seeing the judge’s reactions as they were superimposed into the numbers Zoom-call style.

Taylor and co's rendition of his 1976 hit was accompanied by a moving video showing each contestant as well as snapshots of frontline workers in the United States.
