The America's Got Talent judges - and the rest of us - have been absolutely captivated by one of the most impressive performances to date.

The World Taekwondo Demonstration Team - who are made up of members from South Korea and the US - wowed everyone during their jaw-dropping audition performance, where they showed off their powerful and mesmerising martial arts skills.

The team revealed that they decided to come on the show after being invited to perform at the Tokyo Olympics but not being able to because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The routine consisted of mind-blowing stunts which saw the contestants flying unbelievably high through the air and breaking kick boards.

"I have goosebumps," a stunned Heidi Klum said, while judge Sofia Vegara added: "It was perfection to me."

"I think what you did was one of the most extraordinary things I’ve seen in all the years I’ve been on America’s Got Talent," Simon Cowell praised the taekwondo group.

Not only did the outstanding audition earn the team a standing ovation and cheers from the crowd, but also a Golden Buzzer from host Terry Crews who stepped in before the judges had a chance to cast their votes.

"I have never seen anything like that in my life," Terry praised the team.

"You were not able to make it to the Olympics and get a gold medal, but I am going to give you something golden right now!" Terry said before hitting the Golden Buzzer, which means the World Taekwondo Demonstration Team will automatically make it into the live shows.
