Residents from a range of Auckland retirement homes have made world headlines by recreating Justin Timberlake's 'Can’t Stop The Feeling' music video shot-for-shot.

Created over three weeks during lockdown, residents from Logan Campbell Retirement Village, Murray Halberg Retirement Village and Bert Sutcliffe Retirement Village all put on their dancing shoes to bring the epic video to life.

Taking the lead in the video is 79-year-old Norris Aitken, a former bank manager, who says the call to play Justin Timberlake came out of the blue.

"I think [the video] shows people there's life after retirement and there's plenty of fun still to be had.

"We might be getting long in the tooth, but we're not in a wooden overcoat yet."

The average age in the music video is said to be 80-years-old, but they certainly dance like a group of 20-somethings!
