Relive Janis Joplin's fiery soulful live cover of the Bee Gees' 'To Love Somebody'

It might be a Sunday, but we're throwing it back to 1969 to when soul singer Janis Joplin gave fans a special rendition of the iconic Bee Gees song 'To Love Somebody.'

Belting out the 1967 hit on The Dick Cavett Show to promote her solo debut album I Got Dem Ol’ Kozmic Blues Again Mama!, Joplin puts her signature snarl to good use.

Her rendition is so unique, it's nearly impossible to envision this version as a Bee Gees song.

The track was the second single released off the Bee Gees international debut album, Bee Gees 1st.
