The Chase fans left swooning by "the most beautiful contestant ever" to appear on the show

We all love our daily dose of The Chase ...

But a recent episode of the show had fans glued to their television screens even more so, thanks to one of the contestants.

As Toni faced off against chaser Shaun "The Dark Destroyer" Wallace, viewers were left distracted by the 40-year-old's good looks.

Flocking to Twitter, fans swooned over the contestant, with one gushing: "Toni has brains and beauty what an absolute catch her husband is a lucky guy."

Another added: "Alicia could be the most beautiful contestant The Chase has seen. I'd even let her take the minus offer and wouldn't complain."

"No way is Toni 40 she looks about 25. She's stunning!" a third commented.

Sadly, despite the best wishes of her admirers and an impressive run of correct answers, it wasn't meant to be for Toni and she and her teammates fell at the final hurdle.

The team failed to bag the £21,000 when The Dark Destroyer reached their score of 18 with just five seconds to spare.
