If you've purchased any Queen Anne dark chocolate or mint nougat product and have a milk allergy, you need to be careful!

The confectionery brand has issued a recall for their dark chocolates after it was revealed the product had incorrect labelling about the presence of an allergen (milk).

According to the recall, Queen Anne is recalling all batches and all dates of the following dark chocolate and mint nougat products:

  • Queen Anne brand Mint Nougat (140g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Ginger (110g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Pineapple Nougat (140g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Selection (200g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Peppermint Cremes (200g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Coffee Cremes (200g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Raspberry Marshmallow Fish (50g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Marshmallow Egg (400g and 200g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Mousse Egg (400g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Mint Marshmallow Egg (200g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Coffee Marshmallow Egg (200g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Pineapple Marshmallow Egg (200g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Raspberry Marshmallow Egg (200g)
  • Queen Anne brand Dark Chocolate Boysenberry Marshmallow Bar (55g)

The chocolates were sold at retail stores and supermarkets across New Zealand. The products have been also been exported to Australia.

Customers have been advised to not consume the products. If you have consumed these products and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice.

If you are not allergic or intolerant to milk, this recall does not affect you.

Customers should return the products to their retailer for a full refund.
