Woman treats her cat's fungus with turmeric but has unexpected side effect

A domestic cat in Thailand has had a rather unfortunate makeover, as its owner attempted to treat a feline fungal infection. 

The cat's owner found turmeric to be a solution to the initial problem, but it seemed to create a separate issue entirely as the owner posted the before and after photos to Facebook. 

The beautiful and pristine white cat now has a yellow coat but seems to be fungus free. 

The owner said the cat now has “reduced itching and not licking the wound area” however, she doesn't recommend the treatment without consulting a vet first.
