In the '80s, Prince wrote one of The Bangles' biggest hits, 'Manic Monday.'

Now, over 30 years later, the Prince Estate has released the late musician's version of the track - and it is achingly beautiful!

Putting his signature spin on the hit, the song is perfection.

It's no wonder The Bangles' melody and structure was not a far cry at all from his original.

The accompanying music video features rare rehearsal footage of Prince jamming with two bandmates in-studio for Prince & the Revolution’s 'When Doves Cry' video.

Prince's version of the track will feature on his new posthumous album Originals — a compilation of his demos that would go on to become hits for other artists; it also includes Sinéad O'Connor's 'Nothing Compares 2 U.'
